Here we are again….
Well hello…. How have you all been?
It’s been a long while since I last wrote. I took some pressure off myself and stepped away from posting for a bit, refocusing elsewhere for a while.
It was an amazing refreshing break.
I went home for the Christmas holidays and had a very family oriented few weeks. I reconnected with my siblings - it was the first time we had all been together for many many years, and then spent some time catching up with my Mum and the rest of the gang, and then hanging out for a couple of weeks with my daughter.
I don’t usually get to see the most of my family very much at all so it was absolutely well coveted and treasured time.
I started building things out of Lego, and the K-mart equivalent. I’m pretty slow and I sometimes get it wrong and walk away from it for a bit, but get it done in the end.
I still have a few of these Lego-like projects to get through.
While I’ve been offline, Jack got his own new personalised plate, and had new spotlights fitted, finally!!! Then I parked him up and left. 😂
Since I got back he’s had the old uhf radio and antenna from the Jeep installed, and the auxiliary cable installed, running from the battery through to the spacious cargo area in the back of him so I can charge on while travelling again.
Now we can see what’s on the edges of the road while driving at night, keep an ear out on whats happening on the uhf radio, and keep the fridge cold, the power station, drone and camera batteries charged… as well as anything else that may need charging.
These things all have a big impact.
There’s more planned for sure and I’ll cover it all over the next few months while I gradually get the back fitted out.
There are a few cool trips planned too so stay tuned…
