Same principle as The Beast, different story. In the surface of a salt lake, in the particular way minerals and light interact from above, a figure appeared — glowing, humanoid, covered from head to foot in what can only be described as fire. I didn't create this. I just found it. Central Wheatbelt, Western Australia.
Fire Man is one of those images I come back to and still find slightly unnerving in the best possible way. The form is so clear, so complete, that it feels like it should have a name. Maybe it does — you can decide. Bold, warm and a little mythological, it suits spaces that aren't afraid of a strong image. A home office, a studio, a dark feature wall. For someone who finds the strange things more interesting than the straightforward ones.
