In the Pink | Hutt Lagoon
Hutt Lagoon, near Port Gregory in WA's Mid West, turns a shade of pink that makes people stop scrolling and ask if it's real. It is. The colour comes from a carotenoid-producing algae and varies with the season, the time of day, and what the light's doing — which means every time I fly over it, it looks a little different. This particular visit it was doing something spectacular.
Shot by drone at altitude, this aerial print is a favourite for people who want something genuinely striking on a wall without resorting to the predictable. Works beautifully in bedrooms, bathrooms and light-filled living spaces. The kind of piece that makes guests ask questions.
I was lucky to get this shot on this particular trip.
